I4.0 language
n I4.0 products, plants and processes are digital represented. These digital representatives are named as asset administration shells (AAS).
An asset administration shell and an asset form together an I4.0 component. An asset is an object, which has a value for the user, e.g. products, plants with its components and processes. An asset administration shell can be a file, a server with an interface or a partner in a distributed application (or part of a business model).
