Messages
The exchange of information between I4.0 components is based on mesages. To understand and process messages correctly by interacting components in I4.0 language a structure of messages is defined.
A message contains an identification and a data area.
Identification area
The participants of a conversation are identified by the input of senden and receiver. It is possible to identify and to reference individual conversations and messages (analogue to the "I refer to your message from..." usual in business world). Therefore the expressivity of the I4.0 language will be adapted to the necessary range for dialogues.
Data area
The action purpose defines the intention of the message, e.g. "call for proposal", "accepr-propose" or "inform". On the one hand the data elements reference features, parameters, states, abilities and further relevant information, on the other hand they can get values from elements which are related to submodels of assets.
