Demonstrator and Testbed AAS networked
The interaction protocol "bidding process" specified in VDI/VDE 2193-2 offers the possibility of the highly flexible creation of cooperation relationships between I4.0 components, especially if task must be distributed. The aim is to achieve legal added value chains across the company limits where every participate I4.0 component takes an agreed task within the bidding process.
The I4.0 components can have the role service requester or service provider. The service requester distributes a call for proposal within the I4.0 system where the task as well as all conditions are specified, which are requested at the execution of the task. The service provider receive the call for proposal and are able to generate a proposal.
The call for proposal and the proposals contain a technical and commercial description of the service to be agreed, which are written with the vocabulary of the I4.0 language.
At the server of the chair integrated automation of the Otto-von-Guericke university runs a demonstrator where the described bidding process is realised.
This bidding process can be accessed by external partners. On request all documents are provided to realise an own norm conform service provider.
